Welcome to Blue Roof Studios,
an art hub in South Los Angeles featuring 10 artist’s studios and the public programming of Arts at Blue Roof.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Arts at Blue Roof
is the new producer of Blue Roof Studio’s
public programming, community events, and artist-in-residencies.
Blue Roof Studios is delighted to announce that all arts programming is now produced by Arts of Blue Roof, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Through studio residencies, mentorship, and public programs, AaBR seeks to build long-term relationships with artists and audiences to support accessible arts programs and meaningful arts experiences.
A Room of One’s Own artist residency is also part of AaBR and provides women artists with financial resources, mentorship, and a private studio in which to work. In a dedicated space, outside of their homes, the a.i.r. can explore materials, investigate ideas, and create, free from distractions and everyday responsibilities.
Both BRS and AaBR were founded by artist Galia Linn, who renovated an abandoned church in South Los Angeles into a thriving art and community focused hub.
